I went to Sungei Buloh today for any early waders. Got a less common Terek Sandpiper hanging out with the 75 Common Redshanks.

Clockwise from top left: Ashy Tailorbird caught a caterpillar. It was so jubilant that it fanned its tail! Tongue is involved! Final toss before gobbling it up.

Punggol Promenade, Coney Island 24Dec19

A short walk at Punggol Promenade (West End), got me a rather bluish Collared Kingfisher.

The rock it perched on was full of sessile barnacles.

This White-throated Kingfisher struck a pose on Coney Island.

Back at Punggol Beach, these are the fishes the fishermen caught, for dinner?

On the return league, this more greenish Collared Kingfisher showed up.

Sengkang, Punggol 14Sep19

At Sengkang, this katydid posed for some handphone shot.

At Punggol Promenade, these birds did their respective pose, and somehow they all happened to face right.

At Punggol Waterway, it was a surprise to see a Wild Pig in broad daylight!
