Sengkang Apr20

From KH

During this Circuit Breaker period, the only birding was through my window, and guess who came visiting? This female Olive-backed Sunbird was busy collecting nesting materials from this palm tree.

Here's sticking her tongue out at me...

On another occasion, her mate was displaying to her.

Some days the Long-tailed Shrikes were far away.

Some days they came closer and perch on the mango tree. Two different days, same perch!

This female Pink-necked Green-pigeon also like the mango tree.

Happy times for this pair of Spotted Doves.

While this Javan Myna looked on.

From KH

I spent a late morning hour birding here and got a bunch of introduced birds, like these Golden-backed Weavers.

More introduced birds, in the form of waxbills.

Common Waxbills all lined up

Luckily, there were still many resident birds, like these Asian Glossy Starlings and Olive-backed Sunbird.
