Seletar West Farmway, Hampstead Wetland 31Jan21

At Seletar West Farmway, there was a little pond. Surprised to see a Lesser Whistling-Duck in it.


Then a Purple Heron flew across.


Intermediate Egret caught on a Garden Supple Skink.


These Eurasian Tree Sparrows were free to weave in and out of the chicken coop for the chicken feed.

I spent a couple of hours here still hoping to connect with Green Sandpiper, but failed again...

Five in one - Javan Mynas, Asian Glossy Starling, Daurian Starling, Wood Sandpiper, White-breasted Waterhen


Three in one - Little Ringed Plovers, Wood Sandpipers, Spotted Doves


Resident White-breasted Waterhens shared the canal with migrant Common Sandpiper.


Lots of juicy worms for the Wood Sandpipers.


Common Kingfisher caught a fish.


Eastern Yellow Wagtail and Grey Wagtail shared the canal.


Great Egret and Little Egret also shared.


Chestnut Munias taking a bath.


Male and female Baya Weavers feeding in the grass.


Female Common Flameback playing hide and seek with me.
