Then, Rose-ringed Parakeets feeding on Creeping Cucumbers on a White Leadtree. Skunk Vine growing on the same leadtree.

Lots of Asian Openbills, including this one showing off its deshelled snail.

Shy OHB.

Not-so-shy Sunda Woodpecker.

Not-at-all-shy Large-tailed Nightjar, showing itself in broad daylight on a railing!

In a tree just beside the toilet, a pair of Little Bronze-Cuckoos were harassed by sunbirds, both Ornate and Brown-throated.

Male Little Bronze-Cuckoo. Female harassed by immature male Brown-throated Sunbird.

Sengkang Riverside Park 02Dec24

From KH

I went to Sengkang Riverside Park in the afternoon today and surprisingly there were still quite a good amount of activities.

Many chickens, male and female.

Male Pink-necked Green-Pigeon, so handsome.

Zebra dove, so called for the black-and-white sides.

White-breasted Waterhen, too close!

I was shooting this Purple Heron and did not know there was a Yellow Bittern in the foreground until reviewing the photos!

Continuing Common Kingfisher at the same pond.

Rose-ringed Parakeet, long tail or short tail? Depends on angle.

Javan Myna: honey, will I grow fat with all these African Oil Palm?

Painted Jezebel caterpillar hanging out with a tiny springtail?

Other than that, just the residents, like these adult Brahminy Kites.

And this adult White-bellied Sea-Eagle high up.

Great to record a flock of 8 migrating Oriental Pratincoles.

Only 1 Pacific Swift recorded.

Blue-tailed Bee-eater flew in front of Casuarina Trees.

Rose-ringed Parakeets with Earpod Wattle (back), Sea Almond (middle) and White Leadtree (front).

Male Oriental Pied-Hornbill fly-by.

Grey Herons flanking white egret sp. (Egretta/Ardea sp.), which are too faraway to ID, but fortunately ebird has this option.

A couple of Smooth Otters having a swim.

Rain came at about 2pm. Time to pack up.
