Here are my shots of the Jerdon's Baza the morning. Gee at 7:22 am there really was not much light. The wing on the left got a bit more light and so the exposure is a bit better.
Anyway, it was nice seeing this rare visitor, although this year, almost reaches pest bird status !

Changi was good, we had a permit and got in without any difficulty nor any hassle. There were lots of waders, hundreds of sand plovers, some kentish, greys and about 7 white faced. I got some more pictures, although not terrific, but still recognizable.
Bad news however, the sandy track along the coast beyond the sand bar is washed out. Must have been some storms at high tide and the coastline is eroded away such that a normal SUV type car can no longer get through, so you can not get to the red earth or beyond.
A male White-faced Plover on the right and a female (note very restricted colouration on ear coverts) on the left.

White-faced plover. Split screen, left and right the same bird, just showing it's crown on the right.

White-faced plover, the closest I got to this bird.

Several Kentish Plover photos, showing different crown colors.
Notice the fourth photo, one Malaysian Plover standing up.

I was at Lor Halus this morning, too bad, no Jerdon's although there was the usual flight of about 19 Black Bazas.
