After Bidadari, we went to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, but the Malayan Night-heron was gone. Fortunately, Oriental Magpie-robins, like this male, were always around.
A female Olive-backed Sunbird was also around, showing off her white outertail.
And we soon found out why: her nest was nearby, with a Scarlet Basker (Urothemis signata) as decor.
