Kranji Marsh, SBWR 28Oct17

From KH
Con, Danny and I went Kranji Marsh today. We got a needletail, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared, so no affirmative ID.

Firstly, a couple of resident raptors.

Migrant raptors were Osprey, OHB and JSH.

This is the time of the year, both species of bee-eaters can be quite readily found on the same tree.

Other migrants include Little and Intermediate Egrets, Oriental Pratincoles, Whiskered and White-winged Terns, Common Kingfisher, Brown Shrikes, Barn and Red-rumped Swallows, Daurian Starlings, Asian Brown Flycatchers, an Oriental Reed-warbler and a Grey Wagtail.
