SBWR 13Aug06
From ConThis Common Redshank is banded on the right leg with green & white bands. It also has a metal band on the left leg. This follows the color flagging protocols of the East Asian - Australasian flyway. This individual bird (on the right) was therefore tagged in Papua New Guinea, most likely at Tonda Wildlife Reserve, which is a RAMSAR site. Green over white is what SBWR is using.
