We saw 3 juvenile Brahminy Kites that put on quite an aerial display catching food in the grass at Changi Cove. We also saw some Lesser Sand-plovers & Malaysian Plovers. First picture is a Malaysian Plover, I believe it is a juvenile as the coloration is a bit duller than the female, which according to Robson tilts the scale towards juvenile. Second picture is a male Lesser Sand-plover still in breeding plumage. I guess he will moult out of this plumage into winter plumage within a few weeks.
