Jurong Lake 19Apr26

From KH

Danny and I went to Jurong Lake today.

Coppersmith Barbet was nesting. Here, an adult was feeding a chick.

While waiting for the feeding moment, a Blue-crowned Hanging-Parrot came to forage on a Rain Tree.

White-breasted Waterhen chicks already fledged and following the parents around.

This adult showing off its qing gong, walking on lotus leaves.

Slaty-breasted Rail were out in full force. I counted 3 of them.

Pink-necked Green-Pigeon still building nest. Here, the male brought a stick and flew into the bush below it.

Yellow-vented Bulbul was foraging on this Combretum tree.

Another one was nesting (2 eggs). The story goes that someone shifted the leaves, making the nest more exposed.

Red-whiskered Bulbul didn't even want to look at me.

Javan Myna whacking a gecko!

Black-naped Oriole just chillaxing.

Juvenile Oriental Honey-Buzzard also chillaxing.

Asian Honey Bees nesting in a Pandanus tree.
