LCK3, SBWR, Tuas 02Oct21
From KH
Danny and I started the day's birding at Lim Chu Kang Lane 3.
No green sandpiper, but got Little Ringed Plover (left) hanging out with Wood Sandpiper, as well as Common Sandpiper.
Also Little Egret, Stork-billed Kingfisher and Eastern Yellow Wagtail.
The most interesting find was an Asian Swamp Eel that was out in the open.
Here's a Common Amberwing.
And the plants: Mile-a-minute and Napier Grass.
Next, we went to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Got some more waders: Pacific Golden Plover, Tibetan Sand Plover, Whimbrel and Common Redshank.
We then met up with JS at Tuas. Got Oriental Honey-Buzzard and Japanese Sparrowhawk.
