Sime Forest 24Jun06
Danny/JS reported a pair of
Plain Sunbirds from the Jelutong Tower.
From JS
My father and I went to Sime Track in the evening. The weather was threatening with dark thick clouds. However, the trip was rather fruitful with a
Greater Green Leafbird coming out to dry its wing and two rather unusual sunbirds. Unlike ordinary sunbirds, regardless of sex, they had a white underparts (throat, flanks, belly, etc) and not a single tinge of yellow. Their wings were pale green. Their bills were short. One had a black forehead.
