Last Sunday drop by Faber CHE nest, found juv. on the lower branch left of nest, grown bigger, white patch on breast fading away, more a typical dark morph. Yet to take the plunge and occasionally called for the parent.

Went over to West Coast Park with a lingering light drizzle, the Black-crowned Night Herons were roosting on the usual trees at Car Park C, together with a very wet Purple Heron.

Over at the Lesser Tree Duck (there were 6 of them around) Pond (near Big M) no photographers around on the boardwalk due to the light drizzle. Spotted a Yellow Bittern in the reeds. Resident or overstayer?
