I went to recce Hindhede and Bukit Timah Summit. Hindhede was really lousy; quiet is not a suitable description here. Two noteworthy species sighted are chicks of Red-legged Crake and a first winter male Mugimaki Flycatcher. Basically, that was all that I saw...

I used the side trails to reach the summit. Nothing interesting along the way. There was a noisy Crimson Sunbird and nothing more. The only encouraging find from the trip is unripe fruits on the large fig tree at the summit. Otherwise, I just had a very tiring workout... =D
