Seletar Park Connector 10Feb26
From KH
Today, I had my weirdest encounters so far at Seletar Park Connector.
First, a Water Monitor was seen sniffing at the backside of a Red-eared Terrapin. On closer examination, I realized that the terrapin had laid some eggs in a hole. Alas, the monitor found them before she could erase any trace.
Then, a crime scene! Strangely, on the way in, it was all clear, but just an hour later, on the way out, the body parts of an Asian Openbill were scattered all along the trail.
On a brighter note, saw a nice and iridescent Anomala beetle.
