Sungei Buloh 28Oct25
From KH
News of a Rhinoceros Hornbill first heard yesterday on 27 Oct broke and the whole birding fraternity, including Danny and I, made a mandatory trip to Sungei Buloh today.
It turned out to be juvenile, probably dispersed from Johor. This is more than 2 centuries from the last known wild record in Singapore! Juvy was enjoying the figs for lunch.
Buffy Fish-Owl couple neck long long wondering what's the commotion, while panting in the heat.
Lesser Adjutant thermaling up in this heat.
Immature pale Changeable Hawk-Eagle thermaled even higher up.
