Pasir Ris Park 17Jun23

From KH

Danny and I went to Pasir Ris Park today, and Spotted Wood-Owl couple were roosting in a Rain Tree beside Carpark D.

Male Rufous Woodpecker: should I put my tongue into that hole?

Blue-throated Bee-eater resting on bare tree.

Immature Oriental Honey-Buzzard hanging around.

Juvenile Black-naped Oriole showing streaks on upper and underparts.

Brown-throated Sunbird, male and female.

Dog-faced Water Snake came up for a breath through the yucky water surface.

Despite the yucky water surface, there are sufficient clear windows to ID some fishes.

Green Spotted Puffer showing dorsal and ventral surfaces

Cantor's Gudgeon. Banded Archerfish

Grey Knight Goby

Javanese Ricefish

In clearer water, we had other fishes.

Halfbeaks. Mullets

Singapore Glassy Perchlets. Green Chromide

Warty Slug on a tree trunk.

Centaur Oakblue and Traulia azureipennis grasshopper on a leaf.

Dragon Scale Fern.
