Sungei Buloh, Lim Chu Kang Lane 9A 25Jun22

From KH

Danny and I went to Sungei Buloh and found another Copper-throated Sunbird nesting. This one was hanging from Golden Leather Fern at the visitor centre pond. Zoomed in photo, can just see the white eye ring and pale throat. The nest was just beside the window of the makan area! Interesting that one stretch of the fern has no leaves, making it very exposed. Not sure if any human intervention involved..

Ashy Tailorbird caught something? Swinhoe's White-eye caught something too?

Left to right: Great Egret, Milky Storks, Grey Heron.

Estuarine Crocodile: You can't see me. I'm a tree trunk. You can't see me.

Water Monitor scavenging a spiky catfish.

Dead Reticulated Python. What a shame. Oh well, at least it appeared to die on a full belly.

This wasp liked to hang from a long stalk.

While this spider liked to do upside-down tight rope walking.

After that, we went to Lim Chu Kang Lane 9A to recee. Nothing much here.
