Black-and-white Bulbul was still reported on 6 May, so Danny and I went back to Chek Jawa for another try, but no luck. Black-winged Flycatcher-shrike was still around though. It has become the regular rarity there now.

On the forest trail outside the Chek Jawa entrance, a White-rumped Shama was singing away.

So was an Abbott's Babbler.
