Large Frogmouth, a pair, on a day roost. Fullframe. The least common of frogmouths in peninsular Malaysia and Near Threatened. The Nikon D5 really got a workout today and a bonus, probably a once-in-a-camera-lifetime for it. But for me, twice already I've seen these on a day roost. Unfair huh ? The largest of the Asian frogmouths.
