Pasir Ris Park, Changi 24Dec11

From JS

Last Saturday, we tried to find the pittas at Pasir Ris Park and afterwards, did a bit of raptor watching at the Cove. Unfortunately, only Con got the deal at Pasir Ris Park with a enviable sighting of the young Mangrove Pitta catching a crab. At Changi, all of us were successful with the raptors. Con saw a couple of Eastern Marsh Harriers, while my dad, Kok Hui and myself got glimpses of the skittish Jerdon's Bazas. No surprise present though.
