Punggol East 30Dec10

Finally, after missing the Little Ringed Plover for a couple of seasons, I got to see one today! Punggol East is now partially opened and it is directly opposite Lor Halus. These were the birds seen there from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

1) Little Ringed Plover 1
2) Wood Sandpiper 1
3) Common Redshank 1
4) Common Greenshank 1
5) Common Sandpiper >5
6) Grey Herons >10
7) Little Heron 1
8) WBSE 2 (1 adult, 1 subadult)
9) Brahminy Kite 2 (1 adult, 1 immature)
10) White-breasted Waterhen 2
11) Blue-tailed Bee-eater 2
12) House Swifts 2
13) Long-tailed Shrike 1
14) Brown Shrike lucionensis 1
15) Sooty-headed Bulbul 2
16) SB Munias >5
and swiftlets, doves, swallows, orioles, mynas, crows.
