Pulau Punggol 8Nov08

From JS

Today, my father, Kok Hui, Con and I went to P. Punggol, somewhere in the N. East of Singapore. Hopefully, this place could be covered during the raptor watch IF we don't get chase out like today.

We saw the following raptors:
1) Brahminy Kite (>12: confirmed 2 adults and 10 juveniles)
2) White-Bellied Sea Eagle (>6: confirmed 6 juveniles)
3) Oriental Honey Buzzard (1 pale morph)
4) Black Baza (2)
5) Chinese Sparrowhawk (1 male)
6) Unid Accipter (1)
Total: >22 raptors

Sadly, there was no Booted Eagle flying across the straits.
