This morning intended to bird in Poyan but was drizzling on arrival. Decided not to enter Poyan due to continuous stream of trucks despite the Public Holiday. Interesting sighting was a Slaty-breasted Rail on the roadside next to my car for a good 2 minute, however no camera with me.

Continue to Kranji Nature Trail to check out the BW Pitta. No sign of Pitta. On the way out spot this bird on the trail. It is a juvenile Emerald Dove.
