Poyan 01, 03May08

From Danny
Below is the bird list for Poyan on 1 May. No construction works except guards at LF gate. Both uncommon kingfishers appeared before 8.00 am. Female large-tailed nightjar was flushed near the almost disintegrated concrete slab across drain gulley leaving behind 2 eggs. Note nest very simple just dry leaves and the eggs laid on it. Later mom returned and continue incubation.
