There was a terrific sunbird nest at Mandai Orchid Garden, but I missed it, chicks have fledged. You can still see Little Spiderhunters occasionally. There is also a Spotted Dove nest. Go to the entrance, turn right, walk along the sidewalk. It's in the 4th tree as you walk on the sidewalk. The 4th tree is much shorter than the other trees.

There is an active Chestnut-bellied Malkoha nest at Mandai Orchid Garden. It is quite interesting to see, it is a very crude nest with just sticks. Looks like a crow nest, but smaller. The malkoha is sitting on the nest and you can just see the tail, and occasionally the big red eye patch. I guess the malkoha is incubating. It should get more interesting when feeding starts.

The nest is located in a tree at the wooden platform that is adjacent to the building which is opposite from the Vanilla Pod restaurant. Sorry I don't know the name of the building, but it's up a very slight hill from the Vanilla Pod restaurant. Take some wooden steps up to the platform from the restaurant, and it's just in the tree there.
