Today, I saw Martins in the sky, when I smoked outside near my office in the afternoon. There were over 10. But it’s very high. Therefore I could not distinguish them, Sand or House. They were migrating after they bred around mountains. In Tokyo City, mainly only Barn Swallows breed. Sand Martins breed only in Hokkaido. House Martins breed in any mountain places of Japan. Sometimes Sand and House move together as one flock.
