Dairy Farm 20Aug06

From Danny

On Sunday late noon went to trail behind MOE Adventure Centre to look for babblers. No luck, too many joggers/cyclists along the trail. Generally the typical forest birds like woodpeckers, tailorbirds, rkt drongos, bulbuls were there. JS managed to spot a male Emerald dove preening quietly on the ground. The pic attached generally matched all those descriptive color adjectives in Craig Robson book on the bird. Late in the evening were at Gardenmart & spotted bats (4 of them) hanging below the palm leaf. Manage to catch one on print.
