Danny and I checked out Bulim Ave for painted-snipes and wagtails, but there were only many
Paddyfield Pipits.
After that, we headed for Chinese Garden, where Con was patiently waiting for the White-rumped Munia. The munia was a no-show, but there were other common birds to entertain us.

White-breasted Waterhen with chick. The other parent not in frame.
Yellow-vented Bulbul couple.
Olive-backed Sunbird couple at the Heliconia area.
Rufous Woodpecker couple (the partner not in frame).
Oriental White-eye couple (the partner not in frame).

Oriental Magpie-robin.
Common doves of Singapore:
Spotted Dove and
Zebra Dove.
Common Myna
Common Snakehead in snipe pond.
