From KH
Danny and I went Sungei Buloh for the Asian Openbill that has been reported here for the last couple of weeks, and it was still around. JS went for his KNT census, while Con went SBTB for boobook.
Also of interest was this Great Egret that was assuming breeding plumage.
Other Great Egrets were caught with fish in mouth.
Grey Heron eating Spotted Scat. Purple Heron also looking for food on the mudflat.
Milky Stork eating fish. Little Egret also appear to be assuming breeding plumage.
Copper-throated Sunbird nest. Female Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker eating fruit.
Long-tailed Macaques after mating. Oriental Whip Snake pretending to be a leaf.
Common Snakehead were common in the visitor centre pond. Here's a small and pretty crab.
