Sungei Buloh 06Oct18

From KH

After lunch, I went to old Sungei Buloh.

The Marsh Sandpipers were around.

So were Common Greenshanks.

And Common Redshanks.

These Whimbrels were mindful of the Water Monitor.

Little Egrets were flying away.

And then standing out the rain with a Great Egret.

A Grey Heron.

And some free-ranging Milky Storks (left) and Painted Storks (right).

This male Banded Skimmer (Pseudothemis jorina) is a very distinctive dragonfly.
